Corona Tales

DEAD LOCK

‘God, save us from Corona. I am locked down.’ prayed a man.

‘First save me from you. Release me from these temples, mosques and churches. You have locked me down for centuries.’ God pleaded the man.

Seeing the man and God locked down helplessly in different cells having keys to free each other, the silly virus smiled.

MEAN IT

He kissed on her forehead and said: ‘I love you. I care for you. I can sacrifice my life for you.’

The only Corona virus that was there on her forehead jumped on to his lower lip and told him: ‘Yes, you truly mean it.’

HAPPINESS; NOT PROUD

Showing the video bite on a news channel, a police constable’s wife told her daughter: ‘Look at your father on TV. He is protecting others from spreading Corona and sending everyone back home. We should be proud.’

‘Mom, is there no one who can send dad back if he goes out? I don’t want to be proud. I want to be happy.’ said the child.
