We are like letters in this World of alphabet. We are a part of the crowd, yet unique.

Sometimes we standalone (like I) and still make sense, but most of the times, we need others to make a meaningful wor(l)d.

Sometimes our presence is so important in some words’ world they are incomplete or meaningless without our sound. Some other times, we are just a part of the team, but we never play. They want us to be present, but to remain ‘silent’.

We just assume our voice has no value; hence, we are present but ‘silent’. But, we do not realize that our silence has a reason, has a purpose. Ask the silent ‘e’ at the end of a word; it tells you that it makes a difference to another letter that makes sound. Sound can be a king, but silence is a kingmaker.

We are like letters.

Some of us are like chameleons. We change our colours based on places we are in. We Roar in some places and we neveR make sound in some other places. Sometimes, we decide, whether or not to make sound based on who is with us; we either tRumpet loud or tuRn silent.

Some of us know the value of a good company; we give space and get space. We are independent and we respect others’ freedom as well, We make our own sound and let others make theirs. We STand free and reSPect others’ voice.

We are like letters.

Some of us do not understand the beauty of companionship.

Some of us are dominant; we supress and silence others WHen they partner with us.

Some of us are so stupid that we neither make our own voice heard nor we let our partners speak. We never agree with others, we never compromise. We let the third sound take the benefit. We never THink. We never CHange.

Even worse, some of us dominate and supress each other. AlthouGH both of us can add value to our voices, we become silent at the end. We do not realize that a melody can happen in chorus and in duets, sung one after the other, not in utter silence.

We are like letters. We are more than just curves and bulges.

We are sometimes stubborn, sound loud and fight for their identity. Are we arrogant?

We are sometimes silent and remain unheard. Are we helpless?

We are sometimes dependent, waiting for others to make a sound. Are we weak?

We are sometimes dominant, silencing others. Are we rude?

What sounds arrogance to others may sound sheer confidence to us. What others call helplessness may just be humility.  If their dictionary defines your ‘interdependence’ as weakness, what a bliss such weakness is!

We need everyone. Everyone makes the wor(l)d. After all, we are like letters.
