Being Jesus..

Being born in a cattle shed may be easy. But growing beyond all geographical boundaries and limitless times is not easy.

Being the son of a carpenter, of an unexplainable virgin mother may be somehow easy. But being the father of millions of the poor, of the depressed or the rejected is not easy.

Being almost naked, in context to the body, in context to life may not be difficult. But being so lovable and so respected even after being naked is not easy.

Being a begotten son of the god may be easy. But continuing to live as ordinary and not seeking or exercising any special power for oneself is not easy.

Influencing twelve people (apostles) around may not be difficult. But the leadership of making billions to follow timelessly is not easy.

Seeing the honesty and purity in the tears of a prostitute that wet his feet may be easy. But going forward with a strong conviction of what he is doing is right despite the threat by kings is not easy.

Identifying some humanity in every demon may not be so difficult. But forgiving evil and transforming to complete human is not easy.

Wearing the crown of thorns may be acceptably insulting. But retaining the love even for those who insulted is not easy.

Bleeding in the palms and knees may be tolerably painful. But continuing forgiveness for the people who caused the pain is not easy.

Being Christ may be easy. Being Jesus is not easy. But being Jesus is important.
